Caucus

I caucused today in Seattle. It was packed, as I gather it was everywhere. We had 14 people from my precinct in 2004 (when I caucused for Edwards and was selected as a district delegate), and 67 this year. I had a moment when I thought I might try to convince some of the undecideds, but they seemed pretty happy to be undecided so I let them enjoy that.

The older gentleman who led up the Clinton contingent said that we should vote for Clinton because “Obama wants to negotiate with Al-Quedo [sic] and Iran and you can’t negoiate with those people, you know who I mean, the M-word, don’t make me say it…”

Needless to say he didn’t convince anyone.
