I’m genuinely surprised that that many people watched the debate last week. Granted, that’s only 2 or 3 percent of people who will vote in ’08, but assuming most were Democratic primary voters, it’s actually a nontrivial amount.
Wolf Blitzer’s getting a lot of flack for his “gotcha” interview style that seems allergic to policy discusion, and rightfully so. But the candidates aren’t much better.
The whole event makes me cringe, and I can’t watch more than 5 minutes without changing the channel.
